Lil' Freddie
Hernandez is one of the pioneers of
choppers, especially in the way of long
bikes. Over the last few decades his bikes
have been in countless magazines. He's still
talked about among old timers and his newer
fans of today. Still providing his skills as
a bike builder t the chopper enthusiast,
I've considered him on the best-kept secrets
in California.
Another little-known
fact is that Freddie was one of the guys
behind Denver's Choppers in its heyday
(having built most of Denver's
Harley-powered choppers).
"Denver had a
Triumph. He actually liked the Honda's more.
He was really into the CB750's. I personally
did two CBX's, the 6 cylinder Honda. They
were so fast that your skin would pull back
on your face when you rode it!" said
Freddie.
