Having built his
first frame before he was old enough to have
a drink, you better believe that Freddie
knows how to put together a perfect
chopper-chassis or springer front end. In
fact, many top bike builders are still using
Freddie's frames and front ends today.
"Chica and Billy
Lane have been running my front ends.
Chica's been using them for quite a while
now," says Freddie.
Fred's Frames
are built to your specification in rake,
stretch, goose-neck and single/double down
tube or all of the above. He builds Softail,
rigid and even trike frames. You name it;
he's been there and done that.

His springer front
ends are, in my opinion, the cleanest in the
industry. The springer front ends generally
come in four types: ultra narrow, narrow,
wide and super side, in any length and
finish.
Also returned to
the line up are his rigid front ends, which
were popular in Southern California the late
60's and 70's. These front ends start with
20" over sizes. "What makes it work is that
there's chrome-moly on the inside, which
acts as a spring. Chrome-moly's got like a
memory where it springs back into place. It
flexes; it bounces back. The rigid front end
is the best riding front end I've ever
ridden."
